Out of sight 03:06
Well, I was walking down the street When I heard my baby's call So I jumped into a cab I got something going on I got something to tell And you know why I do Could not sleep no more Made me drink a few Get it off-a my chest Get it right outta there If you don't understand I’m gonna make you, I swear Out of sight, out of mind You know what they say If you don't treat me right I ain't going to stay Well I heard you on the phone And I told you to stay at home Now wait for me to to come I got something that needs done Working my way To what I got to say It's like you don't care If you want me to stay No lord's prayer’s Gonna save you now Ain't gonna hit you woman But I got to take this vow Out of sight, out of mind You know what they say If you don't treat me right I ain't going to stay

Number 10 02:33
In an apartment on the second floor, lives a man who's all alone He ain't got nothing goin' on, nobody's calling on his telephone Down, depressed and pretty stressed, he's gonna do what he does best Runs down to his medicine chest, for something to ingest Number 10's vacant now Just a rope hangin' down Number 10's vacant now Yeah, took his final bow Last week his mother called, food stains were on the wall Thinks he might be goin’ bald, he told her in his southern drawl She told him to grow a spine and stop drinking that freaking wine  Stop living like a swine, and he took that as a sign Number 10's vacant now Just a rope hangin' down Number 10's vacant now Yeah, took his final bow He knew he was in a fix, knew he had to cash his chips He had his little bag of tricks, ready to burn all his ships He thought he was being pretty brave, he knew just how to behave But then it came on like a wave and took him to grave Number 10's vacant now Just a rope hangin' down Number 10's vacant now Yeah, took his final bow

Got my 12 gauge shotgun Just shot you a hole Shot you in the head You ain't gonna talk no more Oh-hoo oh, saw you looking at my wife Shot you down, shot you down You just lost your life Held up a gas station With a kitchen knife Been running from the police Most of my life Oh-hoo oh, all they had were two dollar bills Now I'm-a running, I'm-a runnin' Police is shootin' to kill I ain’t got nothing to lose What ‘choo worryin’ ‘bout? Got to let me know Are you gonna let me out Oh-hoo oh, you left me no choice I had too shoot you, shoot you Make a goddamn noise Mmmm-mmm-mmm I’ve been so bad Mmmm-mmm-mmm Shakin my head Oh-hoo oh, locked me up and threw away the key Gonna rot in here Never gonna set me free Warden messed up Left me with a plan When the sun come up Gonna be a free man Oh-hoo oh, guards on my left and on my right Gonna get the hell outta here Or lose my life

The universe is a crazy thing It got a lot of lively zing But if it ain't got you, it's got nothing for me I went to the store on second street They sell a lot of juicy meat But if they ain't got you, they got nothing for me Bridge Oh baby, I need you so bad Yeah you’re the best I've ever had And if the world wants to take you away I'm gonna give 'm such hell to pay Gonna drive the open road In my hot rod V8 Ford But if it ain’t with you, it’s nothing for me Gonna have me a drink or two In that pub we always go to But if it ain’t got you, it’s got nothing for me Solo/bridge? Wondering where you could be Have you gone on without me If I ain’t got you, there’s nothing for me Lost my faith in all mankind The stars are all misaligned But if I’m with you, it’s alright with me
5.
Lemme know, where can I sell my soul? Can't seem to lose it, I can't use it no more Just a nickel-and-dime For a victimless crime Prostrate to a book, believe it all Magical thinking, man, it’s off the wall I think Deacon Jones Has rattled you down to the bones No religion, gonna save me now No catholic, muslim or jew, no, no sacred cow We all take the same route When you die it's lights-out Ain't no heaven, ain't no burning hell When you die where you go, well, can't nobody know Hmm, so don't pray for me Nobody's gonna hear that plea If you believe, that a carpenter died for you Just go ahead and kneel down in your pew Oh won't you buy my soul 'cause I don't need it no more
6.

Blues In Britain Magazine said: "If you are a serious acoustic blues fan this one's a MUST. If you think you don't like acoustic blues then this is a MUST. It will change your mind."

---

A year has passed since Kevin and Micha released their first album. That album was made available for free in September 2012 and was met with raving reviews. Overall it was hailed as a must-have for acoustic blues lovers. The biggest compliment came when the band won the Dutch Blues Award for Best Album in April 2013.

How do you deal with all the accolades you receive for your first album? Simple. You go back into the studio and start working on a second album with the intention to make it an even better one than the first. The result? 13 cracking tracks with crying slide guitar, howling vocals and dirty blues harp.
Work on Sell Your Soul started in March 2013. Recording took place in July at the Bandbunker in Amersfoort by the 20Twelve Audio team. For the recording they were joined by drummer Frank van Tijn on some of the songs. The organ on “Number 10” was provided by Arne van der Heijden.
